Teachers, please review the mandatory drill procedures for tornado, earthquake and lockdown, as we will be doing those early this week.

Congratulations to Dyllan Clark!  Dyllan has been accepted to attend Eastern Kentucky University and Morehead State University for the Fall of 2016.  Way to go Dyllan!

Any senior that has paid on the senior trip, please stop by the library and see Tammie.

Mr. Sorrell has tickets on sale for the Donkey Ballgame scheduled for Thursday, February 11th at 7 PM in the High School Gym. Advance tickets are available for $5 and will be $7 at the gate. Also, if you’re interested in riding a donkey, see Mr. Sorrell!!

Any FFA member interested in attending FFA Camp this summer, see Mr. Sorrell during 5th block today AFTER you’ve checked in to your 5th block class.

We want to send a huge shout out to the Menifee County Academic Team for winning their 6th consecutive 61st District Title on Saturday! We are so unbelievably proud of the hard work and determination of this team. All students who placed in the top five of their content will advance to the Regional Tournament next month. Here are the results:

HAPPY GROUNDHOG DAY

Attention teachers, staff and students: The nurse’s station will close today at 12:45. Students should not be permitted to go to the nurse’s station after this time today.

Attention Varsity and Junior Varsity Baseball Players: You have conditioning scheduled for today from 5-7 at the Wellness Center.

The Culinary Lab will have cookies and coffee available daily during your afternoon break.

 

There will be a Student Council meeting today after school.

 

There are snacks available in Mrs. Ross’s room daily for students who are staying after school.

 

Seniors, Sophomores and Freshmen:  Your permission sheets for the March 1st Field Trips are due to the Guidance Office NO LATER THAN Friday, February 12th.

 

Registration for the April National ACT Test is by March 4th.  Junior and Seniors who qualify for a fee-waiver, please see Ms. Ingram by February 26th.

 

Seniors: Clark Energy Scholarship is due by April 22nd.

 

Juniors:  Clark Youth Tour is due by February 26th.

 

Seniors:  The Joan Tackett Memorial Scholarship forms are in your email and the guidance office.  Deadline is April 15th.

 

Menifee County Middle and High Schools will celebrate the National Day of Purity on Friday, February 12th.  Go by the HS cafeteria during your lunch and check out their booth.
