Alert: Due to concerns for the safety of our children during the solar eclipse, the Menifee County School District will dismiss at 12PM on Monday, August 21st. The eclipse will be in maximum view in Menifee County beginning at 1:04PM and will last until 3:55PM. Precautions should be taken to avoid eye damage and you can obtain protective glasses from many area retailers. We ask that you take precaution with your children and family during this event. • Intro to auto repair and maintenance
o Oil change, tire check and change and fluid checks
• Advanced auto repair
o Single axle brake change and diagnostic computer testing
• Carpentry
o Use a variety of woodworking tools to craft a “make and take” project
• Self-defense for girls
o Learn the basics of self-defense in this fun and interactive environment
• Culinary design
o Bake, fill and decorate 2 types of cupcakes
• College Prep
o Learn how to find financial resources, what college is right for you and how to fill out those pesky college applications and essays

Who and When
Rising 9th - Rising 12th grade students within Botts Elementary boundaries
July 10th from 10AM-2PM at Menifee Elementary, transportation and lunch provided.

July 12th from 10AM-2PM at Menifee Elementary, transportation and lunch provided.

All participants
There will be a pool party and picnic on July 14th at the Menifee County pool from 12PM-4PM. Transportation and food provided.
