• Alert:

Menifee County Schools will follow the recommendation of Governor Beshear and will begin our school year with online instruction only on August 26th.  Although we hoped to offer in-person classes, that is not possible at this time, so we will support our students in making online learning the best educational experience possible. We will continue to update our community as we approach possible in-person start dates based on future guidance.

With these changes, we will be making adjustments to our plans for “Parent Nights” to offer more guidance for all students. Please watch the Menifee County District Website and Facebook page for updates on dates and times for picking up Chromebooks and other materials.

Additionally, please see earlier information on our website and Facebook page regarding online registration. This information should be completed for all students. There is additional information about support and assistance with online registration included in the registration document.

The faculty and staff of Menifee County Schools are looking forward to the 20-21 school year. Although it is not what we had envisioned for our students, we are dedicated to serving our students and families to the best of our abilities and making online learning a positive experience.

Mr. Manley joined the Menifee High School family in December of 2018 after twelve years of service with Fayette County Schools. There he served as a dean of students and a career and technical education teacher, developing a first of its kind homeland security program of study that now serves as a model for the state and nation. That program was recognized in 2016 by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, FEMA, the U.S. Department of Education, and the American Red Cross as a National Youth Preparedness Program during a ceremony at the White House.

Mr. Manley is a native eastern Kentuckian and resides in Menifee County with his wife, Bethanie, the Allied Health and Health & Physical Education teacher at MCHS. They have three children, all of whom are current students in the Menifee County Schools.

During his free time he enjoys the outdoors, reading, baseball, travelling with his family, and Broadway performances.
