Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment

Jodi Blackburn currently serves as the Chief Academic Officer for the Menifee County School District. This is her eighteenth year in education. Mrs. Blackburn is a National Board Certified Teacher, and her career has provided her with numerous opportunities to serve educators and students across the state. These include working as a Professional Development Associate and grant writer for Morehead State University, teaching in Franklin and Scott County Schools, and serving as Co-Director of MSU’s Kentucky Reading Project.

She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Education, a Master of Arts in Education as a Teacher Leader, and an Educational Specialist Degree (Ed.S). Mrs. Blackburn has presented at multiple national and state conferences, including the National Board for Professional Teaching Standards Conference in Washington, D.C., and the Southern Regional Education Board National Conference.

In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and traveling.
