Assistant Superintendent/Director of Support Services

Tonya R. Means is the new Assistant Superintendent and in her fifth year as Director of Support Services for Menifee County Schools.   Prior to this role, she spent four years in the Principal role for Menifee Elementary K-8, which also included Botts Elementary during the pandemic.  Mrs. Means spent ten years teaching in the elementary classroom before venturing to administration.  In addition to her Bachelors degree in elementary education, she received her Masters degree for Instructional Technology for K-12 in 2011.  She earned her Ed.S from Asbury University for Principal, Instructional Supervisor and Director of Pupil Personnel in 2020.  Mrs. Means completed her Superintendent certification through Asbury University in the spring of 2023.  She enjoys spending time outdoors on her family farm in Menifee County.  She is a life-long resident of Menifee County and enjoys helping the students of Menifee be successful.
