• School Closings/Delays:

    The Menifee County Schools will follow the recommendation of Governor Andy Beshear to extend no in-person classes through Friday, April 17th.  Our schedule for the next four weeks will include an additional 10 Non-Traditional Instructional Days (NTI) plus 5 days of Spring Break. 

    Our schedule will be as follows:

    ·         March 23rd-March 27th- NTI Days #4-#8

    ·         March 30th-April 3rd- NTI Days #9-#13

    ·         April 6th-April 10th- Spring Break

    ·         April 13th-April 17th- NTI Days #14-#18

Effective immediately, and through the duration of the state of emergency, Boards and Commissions SHALL NO LONGER MEET IN PERSON.

Members of the public will only be able to view video-teleconferenced meetings remotely. The Menifee County Board of Education will be utilizing Facebook Live for public viewing, and our board members will be connected utilizing ZOOM for our March Board Meeting

Menifee Central Update Breaking the Mold

Stakeholders,

As you know, we are working diligently to ensure Menifee Central is completed timely and efficiently.  We have great news to share.  All bids for construction were opened on May 16th.  This will enable us to potentially complete the entire building at one time.  This amount included items that we wanted but were not sure we could afford, such as canopies at the bus drop-offs and parent drop-offs, upgraded flooring, security glazing for the windows and doors, card readers at entries and a very nice LED sign out in front of Menifee Central.  The schedule for construction is 18 months.  Please see the article for more info.
